Distinction for Greek entrepreneurship in the Financial Instrument SME program

Recently completed the selection of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to be supported through the second phase of the new EU financial tool , specially designed for the direct financing of highly innovative SMEs. Special distinction was recognized to two Greek firms under the first phase of SME Instrument, which were considered highly innovative and secured the funding foreseen.

Planetek Hellas, which participated in the program with the proposal OP3C (On board Processing for Compression and Clouds Classification in hyperspectral satellite data) for creating and marketing a product (hardware and software) to be placed in satellites flying hyperspectral sensors and will automatically recognize the coverage of clouds and compression of images these sensors will receive.
