The Living Planet Symposium 2022 (#LPS22), is set to take place in Bonn, Germany, next 23-27 May 2022.
Planetek Italia will join the event to showcase its recent innovations and projects outcomes in Earth observation domains like: plastic marine litter detection, critical infrastructure resilience, hydrogeological hazard mapping, soil sealing mapping, agriculture production support, law enforcement, new generation PRISMA hyperspectral data exploitation, and a new satellite-as-service ecosystem concept for EO missions.
The event
Attracting thousands of scientists and data users, ESA’s Living Planet Symposium is amongst the biggest Earth observation conferences in the world.
The programme of the 2022 Living Planet Symposium is based on ESA’s Agenda 2025, Open Science, the ESA Ministerial Council 2022 future programme preparations and interactions with industry.
The Living Planet Symposium 2022 will not only see scientists present their latest findings on Earth’s environment and climate derived from satellite data, but will also focus on Earth observation’s role in building a sustainable future and a resilient society. Participants will also be able to explore how emerging technologies are revolutionising the use of Earth observation and how business and the economy can benefit from this new epoch.
