The first act of Planetek as an OGC member is to further next OGC Technical Committee to be held at ESA ESRIN facilities in Frascati, Italy, from 8th to 12th of march 2010.

The company as an associate member wants to promote and emphasize the importance of OGC standards in the design and development of interoperable geospatial systems. Through its representatives Cristoforo Abbattista, Geospatial Systems Unit Manager and Massimo Zotti, Sales Manager, Planetek Italia will attend the OGC meetings, bringing the point of view and instances of the Italian market.
